Senior Digital Communications Specialist

Kaitie has a background in academia, digital media, and the entertainment industry. As someone who has worked full time in the music industry for most of her live, she has discovered a way to marry her passion for the arts with her expertise in digital media, working for several years in communications for arts organizations, non-profits, Vancouver Opera, singing education company, Singdaptive, and iconic guitar authority, Fender.

Kaitie’s career has led her into a number of contract communications positions for Government, including with the BC Ministry of Transportation and Infrastructure where she had the pleasure of working in the environmental management branch. Passionate about environmental sustainability, Kaitie gained knowledge about environmental restoration and the stories and culture of the local Tseycum First Nation, whom she was fortunate enough to work alongside.
