Senior Designer/Design Director
Jason Esteban
Jason Esteban is an Art Director, Artist, and Designer with over 20 years of experience. He has a BFA and a Master’s in art, which often comes through in his work as a designer—he likes to utilize traditional art-making materials in his work and work on paper with a pencil or some paint before moving things to the digital realm. He uses his fine art talent to create illustrations with an eye for the delivery of outstanding corporate and public assets and reports.
Jason started his career in design by working as a Graphic Specialist for IKEA for over ten years. His tenure at IKEA took him to many cities in North America and Lisbon, Portugal, where he worked on designs for new IKEA stores. He followed that up with almost five years working at VANOC (The Vancouver Organizing Committee for the 2010 Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games), where he literally had the dream job of working with some incredibly talented team members on developing and implementing the visual design system known as The Look of the Games.
After the games, he sharpened his digital chops at Hootsuite for a little over three years. With plenty of experience in traditional print design, large-scale environmental design, and web design under his belt, Jason is a well-rounded designer with experience in virtually all areas of graphic design and art direction.
